How to Remove Lint from the Lint Tray on an LG Sensor Dry Dryer
Even though many LG front load sensor dry dryers don’t have a traditional “lint tray” like older dryers, they do have a lint filter screen inside the door opening that collects lint. Keeping it clean helps your dryer run safely and dry clothes faster.
Step 1: Locate the Lint Filter
Open the dryer door
Look at the bottom of the door opening or inside the drum edge
You’ll see a thin mesh screen or pull-out filter
Step 2: Remove the Lint Filter
Grip the handle on the lint screen
Pull it straight up or out (depending on model)
Be gentle—do not force it
Step 3: Remove Lint by Hand
Peel off lint using your fingers
Roll lint into a ball and discard it in the trash
Make sure both sides of the screen are clean
Step 4: Deep Clean the Filter (Optional but Recommended)
Rinse the filter under warm water
Use a soft brush (like a toothbrush) if buildup is heavy
Let it air dry completely before reinstalling

Remove lint inside the filter housing
