Learn how to caulk a tub with GE Tub & Tile silicone! Learning how to caulk a tub with GE Tub, shower & Tile silicone is easy, this is the best way. Basic Rules of Caulking a tub, shower or tile:
1. Clean the area and make sure caulking areas is dry
2. Fill tub up with water (This will get it to maximum lowest settle point, so it won't crack and break when you get into the tub)
3. Lay a bead smaller than a pencil diameter, but more than a q-tip diameter
4. Run you finger across with moderate pressure, nothing crazy
5. Wipe finger off on paper towel
6. If you are getting a lot of caulk build up on your finger, stop and wipe it off on the paper towel. Rinse and repeat
