The best right way to zero your hunting rifle is this! The best way to zero your hunting rifle is to make sure you zero your scope with you actual round of choice. Do not zero with cheap ammo and then never verify the zero is still good with your expensive hunting ammo. When you buy a scope, buy some cheap ammo and your hunting ammo. Go to the range after installing the scope and start at 25 yards. Dial it in at 25 yards. Then go to 100 yards for an ultimate zero. You should be close and just need a minor adjustment, as the windage won't change much if at all. Good luck hunting with the best ammo and scope combo!
