On Nov. 17, 2021 I heard some angry barking in the backyard. It was the dogs, Romeo and Leo, incensed to see a black rat snake in the outer pen. This is the story of how I used my trusty cupcake carrier to capture and release the snake, whom I nicknamed Scar.
