How to build a Water heater to run on Free fuel. @glumpy10

This is how I made a water heater from an old gas hot water service and converted it to run on waste oil instead of gas.
Please see my other vids for Burner construction and running waste oil burners.
I have used this setup as shown on other vids when my electric hot water heater failed. This heater setup has fast heat up and can be set to keep pace with the demands of a normal shower hot water requirement.

The system could easily be set up in an off grid or prepper type location as it only needs a small amount of 12V power to supply the car blower I used here. The burner runs on any waste oil and is gravity fed without the need for Nozzles, pumps or compressors.

As well as providing Domestic hot water, the output can also be used in a home heating system which is what I plan to set up for my home this winter.
It could also be used for an outdoor shower, to heat water for animal troughs, to heat a spa or small swimming pool or other uses to replace gas or electric how water heating.

Waste Oil burner Flame control and automation.

$Steel melt in Home Brick furnace. Waste oil Burner Furnace Melts steel Crucible and causes runaway of molten metal out the bottom. The oil burner only used about 3L of Waste cooking oil to heat up and destroy the fire extinguisher bottle I had been using to melt Aluminium in the furnace. The Burner was only running at very low power but the concertntration of heat was still enough to melt the steel Crucible. As well as Burning through the extinguisher Bottle in around 4 Minutes, The waste oil burner which was only runing at very low output also burnt through the stainless steel plate on the bottom of the furnace as well as a insulating brick tile from an industrial gas heater and the piece of galvanised iron it was all sitting on. I need to rebuild the Furnace with some proper refractory to stop the bricks melting any further than what they have and also find some thicker steel to make Crucibles with. From what I have been told it would appear that the furnace which is made from ordinary house bricks has easily reached tempratures of 1500-2000oC in the limited time it has been run and with the burner doing no where near its full output. $Melting Aluminium with brick furnace oil fired. Melting scrap aluminium for casting with the brick furnace using waste oil as heat source. Waste oil provides a cheap and powerful fuel for melting all metals from aluminium casting through to cast iron. This was the first time I have fired an oil burner in a long time but it lit right up and without trouble. As its been a while I thought Id go over the setup of how this works yet again as I am always getting questions and maybe some people will not have seen my vids before. The Aluminium melted much quicker in the furnace with the waste oil burner firing it up than with the wood I tried last time. I could have done better with the wood but using an oil burner if far easier and provides loads more heat with better control. The furnace is made of Common house bricks. I used a clay and sand mix as a refractory but will re do it using some wire as a binder for it to stick to so it does not crumble as much.$
