I made a garden bed from scrap composite deck board, using the steps laid out by Bob Clagett & Team at I Like to Make Stuff.

Update 2/22/2021 - See pinned comment. You may immediately die if you eat vegetables grown in this bed. Use only for flowers or other ornamental plants, though based on the level of danger evidentially posed by the boards, any plant grown in the bed may gain sentience and try to kill you. Either way, you are doomed.
