Hey friends, let's build a modern nightstand to match the storage bed I shared in my last video!

This simple nightstand design could easily be used as an end table, too. It's a great DIY woodworking project for the weekend as it only takes a few hours to put together.

Wood Type: I built this from red oak--both solid wood and red oak plywood. However, any wood type would work fine for this. Construction lumber (pine/spruce/fir) and birch plywood are what I normally use most and are a great budget friendly option if you didn't want to splurge on oak!
