A buddy of mine asked me to make a goblet for him. I didn't have a lathe, but that didn't stop me. This video will show how I made a goblet out of some 2x4 scraps and a section of dowel. I used a drill press, band saw, chop saw, and an orbital sander. I also used a fence and circle jig that I built specifically for my band saw that are also featured in this video. While editing, I tried to cut out as much cutting and sanding as I could to keep the video short but also trying not to cut out valuable footage. As stated briefly near the end of the video, the goblet holds roughly 6 ounces of liquid.
