The previous shelter for my boat was built from left over 1/2" pvc and a tarp. Needless to say that didn't hold up too well when the walnut tree next to it lost a large branch. After renovating our deck, we ended up with a lot of large pieces of treated scrap, so why not build a new boat shelter? In total, we spent about $50 to buy a few sheets of plywood and a handful of bolts, granted though about 90% of the material was scrap or we already had on hand. Not bad for a 2 day project!
