Monday 21st January 2019 is what has come to be known as "Blue Monday". It came from a notion dreamt up by a PR company, which supposes the 3rd Monday in January as the most "depressing" day of the year, based on the weather, debt from the festive period, and time until our next holidays.

"Depressing" is arguably the wrong term to use, as depression is a condition that goes beyond one day and the circumstances that surround it, but there are some very real feelings that can overcome us as pressures mount up at times.

In this short video I just wanted to remind people to focus on what is good in their lives to help in supporting their mental health.

Have a happy and health 2019!

In January I am running EVERY SINGLE DAY in support of my mental health and the RED January campaign.

You can sponsor me and my efforts here! Thank you!

I am very pleased with the direction my channel has been taking recently, and really appreciate the supportive comments from many of you, and I am just setting up a Patreon community now with the intention of growing this channel to reach a wider audience with the message and style of video I produce, so that you, and many others like you, can continue to learn about the mental wellbeing benefits of photography, and more about my own personal style and approach to this subject - I will be looking to add rewards for members of the Patron community in the near future, so watch this space. Thank you.
