In this video we will take look on The Trimmable Horizontal Stabilizer (THS) actuator. It moves the control surface of the THS. The THS actuator is an electro-hydraulic unit that changes the mechanical or the electrical pitch-trim commands into mechanical movements.
The THS actuator has two hydraulic motors and a pitch-trim actuator. The pitch trim actuator controls the hydraulic actuation. Two hydraulic systems, Yellow and Green which supply power to the hydraulic motors. These systems have their independent fluid supplies.
