Since Netflix changed Hollywood and moved into streaming video on demand, new streaming services have dominated how we watch movies and television. TV shows and films that are exclusive originals to services can only be seen behind the paywall, there is so much to watch that not everything gets advertised, and financially it's all a disaster for both Hollywood and us, the consumer. What was once a cheaper alternative to cable has now become more expensive than ever and has killed the terrestrial tv market as well as movie theaters and has taught us all to stay home and skip the ads. How can things change or can they?
