While many historians will state that Walt Disney gave us the first animated feature film with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, that is actually incorrect. It is the first animated film from Hollywood, and the first to be shown with sound, but there were several animated films from all around the world that existed beforehand, including Lotte Reineger's 1926 film, The Adventures of Prince Achmed. Now 100 years old, the animated telling of the Arabian Nights is truly a pioneering movie.
