This is a discussion on how I think school makes kids hate reading. It's something I noticed where young kids love books, but then they start to dislike reading. It's often how schools test reading comprehension that begins to turn reading from a pleasure to a punishment. I'm planning on making a follow-up video to discuss possible solutions on how to help kids love reading further in school. I also want to note that this is by no means in response to any specific Department of Education or education agency.
