After we had already done a "Touch Grass" and a "Touch Water" Octofecta in the past now I think it's safe to say that this series deserves a continuation so today we are setting out to touch yet another element in ALL 8 Harry Potter games for the PC. And of course we are going for none other than fire, the most violent but also interesting element to reach in all of the games. Because allthough there is quite a lot of fire inside the Harry Potter games most of it is actually walled of and can not be touched at all.
Or if you get lucky enough and you can actually reach in then Harry often just stands inside of it without any reaction or recoil as if the fire wouldn't even exist. So for this specific element we made a special rule that on top of just touching the fire it also had to make Harry take damage. So for the sake of this run we only count fires that are coded as actual damage sources inside their game, obviously I was allowed to interpret that a little bit freely which is half of the fun for runs like this but there had to be some kind of reaction to be seen.
I have to say that I have been really enjoying this series of touching specific elements and would love to finish this off eventually as well. Since the last element would be air or something along those lines it might be a little bit hard to define a ruleset for it that actually makes sense but we will see what we can cook up. Overall a really fun little run that I enjoyed doing a ton, any excuse to play the PC Octofecta games again with a fun challenge or twist is a welcome one for me so I hope you are going to enjoy this video now as well!
