Happy New Year everyone, I hope you started 2026 happy and healthy and that it will be a good year for all of you! And as it is sort of tradition we use the start of the new year to look back a bit onto the year that has just passed. And since it was a year filled with Speedrunning for me we of course managed to get several nice Personal Bests during the year and could even claim some World Records during it. But those big and flashy runs are not what we are going to take a look at today, this video will be all about small but very nicely done and fast Individual Level Speedruns (ILs)!
So in case you do not know what an IL is, the idea behind it is that we grind only one specific level instead of the entire game which obviously makes it wayyy more possible to optimize it to, in some cases, the Millisecond. It's a breath of fresh air compared to a more traditional and long run but in my opinion equally as exciting. And especially considering that the year has just changed now I thought it would be a great timing to showcase some of my best work in that regard on the channel now.
IL runs and leaderboards are always waayyy too underappreciated and really deserve some more love and more people doing them to fill up some leaderboards, it's a very fun and different way to grind for fast times in my opinion but you can of course make up your own mind by watching the video!
