Nova Scotia has discovered offshore wind power - in fact they've mapped out enough potential capacity to provide 27% of Canada's electricity from wind power.
The province is getting set to offer 5 gigawatts of offshore wind leases. This could be very good for Nova Scotia.
Elisa Obermann of Marine Renewables Canada says these developments would already be twice as large as Nova Scotia's electricity needs.
