The good folks over at @Frogtoadlifestyle insisted that I would be impressed with a full-size electric chainsaw, so I had to try it out for myself. Thanks for the loan, Ethan!
This EGO 56v saw works hard. I cut down, limbed, and bucked two fair-sized yard trees with this 18" saw and it lasted all the way through to the second-last cut. I think an electric chainsaw suits folks who want less noise, a versatile tool battery, and no-mess no-smell fuel.
