Hi artist friends!
I'm Elisabetta, a watercolor artist from Italy with a passion for art supplies: a true pigment nerd!
Today, I'm trying and mix a hue of Quinacridone Gold hue as close as possible to genuine pigment PO49 that I have recently bought from Della Magna watercolor, a luxury artisan based in Florence, Italy, at dellamagna.com (this is not a sponsored link).

To do so, I'm trying different formulation, as the ones used in convenience mixes sold by big brands: unfortunately genuine Quin Gold pigment PO49 has been discontinued so big artist brands produce their own hues, each with a slightly different formulation. I am trying mixing my Quin Gold following each of these formulation.

I'm also trying a completely different mix, as suggested by my friend @awatercolourist and by other followers: this time using Gold Green PY129.

I was so curious to try!
