In this #GDoCExpo 2021 talk, Composer and Sound Designer Roc Lee discusses how to come up with a comprehensive audio strategy. Everyone agrees that good audio is essential to making a game feel good, but where do you even start? Things like gunshots and explosions are no brainers, but what else needs sound? The work of sound designers tends to be invisible, but in that invisibility there is freedom to explore the world extending beyond the screen – to give voice and feeling to what cannot be seen.
