While visiting my aunt in Los Angeles, I made the trip out to Gardena to look at one of the most interesting brands in American-made jeans: Hiroshi Kato. The fabric and the designs come from exacting artisans in Japan, while the jeans are cut, sewn, washed, and finished here in the United States — it's the best of both worlds. Sounds like an ad? Nope, I got zero money! I just wanted to visit a jeans factory.
