This week, jurors found Hawaii anesthesiologist Gerhardt Konig guilty of attempted aggravated manslaughter of his wife Arielle Konig while on a hike last year for her birthday. But he was on trial for attempted murder, not manslaughter. The jury ended up convicting him on a lesser charge after hearing testimony about what happened from the perspectives of Arielle Konig, Gerhardt's son, and Gerhardt Konig himself.
