Expect more. I haven't had this vidding inspiration in months.
I love this show and I'm still mouring.
And btw, this is the only complete show I've got on my new computer... so, you're kinda stuck with it!

Short summary of the episode: Caesar has escaped from Tartarus, bound the Fates and changed the loom. In the AU he created, Xena is his Empress and Gabrielle is a playwrighter who has been welcomed in Rome, until Caesar realizes who she is and decides to crucify her for treaty. Needless to say, Empress Xena kind of instantly fell - ehm - became her "friend" and tried to save her, but this resulted in her own death.

So, not much to say, but that Im into b&w atm & after watching the ending of The Tudors s2 (I havent watched all the episodes yet, though... only a few) I thought about this song & said, why not?

Is anyone else angry with LotSs PTB????? I mean, you give me this WONDERFUL episode, with R/K goodness, Cara & Kahlan badassness as well as frenemies moments, Denna with her GORGEOUS hair down, Kahlans new dress, SISTER VERNA(!!!!!), Mrswith & DuChaillu and ruin EVERYTHING by killing off my fav MSith in THAT way? Killed by CARA, my 2nd fav, WITHOUT Richard around to forgive her????? Youd better bring back Jessica Marais sooner or later or I will HAUNT you :P
Ok, after threatening TPTB (jk) Im going to thank one, the writer of Resurrection & co-writer of Denna, Mike Sussman, for these two wonderful epis AND for actually writing more than kissing between Denna & Richards body (:P) in his first draft of Resurrection. My MSith deserves some lovin!!
Anyway, I needed to make a tribute to this amazing character. I made one after I read about her death in WFR & now I made one for her show!death.
Most of you will hate me, lol. It started as a character study & eneded up being shippy.... and the ships not R/K xD Sorry, but they looked SOOOOO great with the Rahl outfit & the white leather!!!
In the books shes just plain awesome & in the show she was until she killed Richards mother (xD), not her fault though. Anyway, I still loved her after that & seeing her back in s2 was great; I knew she was going to die in ep 8 (it was obvious), but I had hope for something more... good?
BUT I have to admit, that last line was said in THE perfect way. Kudos to Jessica Marais. I loved how she asked Zedd the fatal question, ironic, unsure, but hopeful *heart*
As for the style of the vid, its a bit visually messy. Youve got song + voiceovers from the show; quotes mostly from the books, B&W, sucky colored coloring & I dont remember overlays but there could be xD Oh, well... new style, I dont like it that much, hope you do :)

This is a pressie I made for Bekki in occasion of the Secret Santa exchange organized by the Jack & Sam thread at GateWorld Forum :)
She said shed like something angsty or crazy, but she didnt think the two could go together. So, here was my attempt at combining angsty craziness. BUT YouTube completely screwed the timing. The only way I could upload the vid in a way that was decent for the eyes was cutting off the first/angsty part, which, apparently, was corrupted. Luckily I sent Bekki the file on Megaupload so shell get the whole vid & not just the crazy part :) Sorry about this inconvenient.

This is something random Ive been wanting to do for a while. Ill make a full video to the whole song soon, but till then I think this could be some kind of a stand alone ;) Its not really a preview, just a teaser? An anticipation? A nothing?, lol.
Itll be my entry for the Art In Motion contest. Its not as good as most of the entries, but I thought Id try anyway. Ive never edited like this & also I combined two of my favorite things: this song & Dantes Inferno, which, for me, is the highest expression of ART. Pure Beauty.
[I would love to post the whole vid for the contest, but I wont continue it before Feb 20th (I need clips) & the contest ends Feb 21st & Im pretty sure I wont be able to finish it in less than 24hrs ;P ]
