how I made a spooky haunted tree from scrap for my Halloween 2025 haunted house. This is my 3rd year setting up a haunted house and usually only have 1 animatronic outside. The plan is to build 2 spooky haunted trees which we are half way there and a haunted seesaw which was completed this weekend. I used 5 buckets that may be 6 gallons as they are taller than 5 gal buckets.
Expanding foam was used in different brands and used 5 cans that were under $5 each. The LED strip was $3 a while back on clearance at Walmart and the paint was left over from previous projects. I want to say I spent about $50 in materials and enjoyed the build over several days as the progress kept getting better.
I will be building a second tree soon.
