Cleaning and maintaining my own outdoor central air conditioner condensing units is an annual money saving venture but perhaps more importantly, keeps me personally informed of the condition of the equipment. This should be done every season according to professionals. I have two units (1st and 2nd floor) and I rotate between a simple coil cleaning and a full super cleaning annually between the units.
