Dirty, damaged or out of adjustment bobbin cases can be cleaned and adjust. Two tiny screws and a tension spring. Lint, smudge, and oil can build up behind that spring and cause tension problems. Do it yourself. 1 OUNCE TENSION ON BOBBIN SPRING
