The idea that a bunch of sensors and some software can determine whether or not someone is fit to drive is bad enough on the surface, but what's not talked about is how these devices that are intended to make the public safer by keeping impaired drivers off the road can actually cause the death of anyone trying to escape an emergency situation with their vehicle.
Here's the story of how I once has a cut off disc explode causing multiple injuries and massive bleeding, and how a vehicle equipped with this feature would have in all likelihood left me to bleed to death.
