It's taken a little longer than expected, but we finally got to pour a load of nitro in the tank of our vintage Top Fuel project, crank it up and pull the pin.
The old Chrysler fought us a bit at first, but some fine tuning on the barrel valve brought her around nicely.
Here's how the initial light off went, the changes we made along the way, along with plenty of gagging and choking as we filled our shop with golden nitro fog.
Next step for the old digger is the strip itself!
