Watching railroad track being replaced is an amazing feat of engineering, with lots of machines hard at work. Whats even cooler is seeing a railway switch being installed on the mainline! We'll watch, and see how a switch is replaced, and what the railroad has to do in order to make it happen.

We'll see the replacement, and reconfiguration, of track along CPKC's mainline. Due to a customer no longer needing rail service, the railroad redid a switch, and track to improve service. Included in this video are scenes of the prep work, install, ballast, tamping, packing, cranes, and much much more! This is a great overview of a rarely seen operation.
