A blocked fuel filter in a 2-stroke engine can disrupt carburetor adjustments and significantly impact engine performance. The fuel filter serves as a crucial component in maintaining the cleanliness of the fuel entering the carburetor and subsequently the engine. When the fuel filter becomes clogged with debris, dirt, or contaminants, it restricts the flow of fuel to the carburetor. This restriction impedes the carburetor's ability to receive an adequate supply of fuel, leading to an imbalance in the air-fuel mixture.

Kirkman, A City and Guilds qualified repair engineer with a BSc Hons degree in Science and a Post Graduate Certificate, unveiled his innovative carburetor model to the public through his YouTube channel, aptly named 'The Repair Specialist', in 2016.
