In the city of Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, a charity organization distributed hot meals to displaced Palestinians who have been forced into starvation by Israel.
Unable to access basic food supplies, Palestinians waited for hours under the sun just to receive a bowl of food.
Abu Rami Mohammed, a Palestinian father, said he had no choice but to come to the distribution points in the hope of bringing food to his children.
Abu Hamza, the Palestinian responsible for food distribution, explained that due to the limited availability of food in the area, they were preparing meals with just water, eggplants, and a bit of tomato paste. He described the situation as a crisis, saying:
"We are now seeing diseases we’ve never seen in our lives, all due to malnutrition. We are living in an unimaginable situation."
The hunger crisis remains unresolved as Israel continues to restrict aid from entering the region by both air and land.
