Swingin' D Horse Rescue saved Zane from slaughter in March 2017. He's been living peacefully on our ranch since then, but had choking incidents three days in a row. The latest one was especially frightening and required an emergency veterinary visit. Here's what esophageal choke looks like, and how we handled it.

Swingin' D Horse Rescue saves horses from the slaughter pipeline, nurses them back to health, evaluates and trains them, then adopts them to responsible owners.
