On our trip to the lowlands deserts of central Arizona, we had some particular animals in mind that we wanted to see: tarantulas, gila monsters, and a plethora of rattlesnakes come to mind, but the lizard diversity of the sonoran desert is INSANE, and just so happens to include one of my favoirte animals: horned lizards! Or are they horned toads?...... These strange, flat, spiny creatures are an elusive native that at a first glance can be hard to classify..... is it actually a lizard? Or some kind of strange combination of creatures bundled into one desert flat boy? Well, we'll have to find one to see! As always we hope y'all enjoy this video :D
