In this video we repair a Hornby Rebuilt West Country Class locomotive that won't run. The problem is something I've seen before with a model of Tornado and I got very luck with the repair as I already had the spare part required.

Hornby have a problem with these gears, they crack too easily and it's very hard to find spare parts.
