A couple of weeks ago we unboxed my uncle's model railway collection that he's wanting to sell and tried to figure out how much it was worth. Thank you to everyone who left a comment, it's really appreciated and it's given me a few ideas.

I also contacted four model railway shops that buy second hand collections and in this video we see what their responses were.
