Migraine is so often dismissed as just a headache but, for those of us who experience it, we know it’s so much more than that.

As someone who has lived with migraines for many years, I know how debilitating they can be. They can affect the way you think, feel, work and function, often long before the headache even starts.

In this week’s episode of my @drlouisenewsonpodcast, I’m joined by neurologist and migraine specialist Dr Eli Sader @doctor.painkiller to discuss what migraine really is, what happens in the brain during an attack, why triggers can be so different for everyone and the important role hormones can play.

If you experience migraines yourself, or support someone who does, I hope this conversation helps you feel more informed, understood and empowered.

Listen now via the link in my bio and share with anyone you know who suffers with migraines.
