Home Grown Lettuce Smack Down - Which is Better, Winter Sown Lettuce or Direct Sown Lettuce
There are several ways to grow lettuce. You can sow the seeds directly into your soil in the ground or container you're going to grow it in which is called Direct Sowing. Or you can sow the seeds in mini-greenhouses in the dead of winter out in the snow or cold weather and in spring you have beautiful, healthy, hardened seedlings ready to plant in their final home which is called Direct Sowing.
Watch in this video as I compare the 2 methods and show you my seedlings. You can decide which is better but I'll show you what I've found!
