This film is made especially for people who have not taken this scenic coastal journey, and for those now far away who miss it - from one seaside town on Belfast Lough, through Belfast, to another on the opposite shore. More stops can be added for a longer journey with more excellent scenery - eg take the whole trip from Bangor City to Larne Town. Plenty for history fans, foodies, and walkers. Holywood and Whitehead both have promenade walks, and the Blackhead coastal path around the headland cliffs is just superb. Along the way we met some great people with a story to tell. The staff at NI Railways stations and on the trains are always cheery and approachable, so don't be afraid to ask any train or destination questions... and of course you get to see local folk coming and going about their day around the Lough.
