A really great Mayday and Maypole event yesterday in Holywood Town on the shores of Belfast Lough. So many good people and so many well behaved pets! I got to chat with the dancers, their parents and their teacher - what an inspiring activity for young folk and a lot of skill involved.
I hope this short film with it's concise history talk helps to illustrate this day well to viewers and serves as a happy reminder for those who attended. I tried to get as many people, and their critters, as possible into the final production!
