A search off the coastline of Ballywalter for a missing kayaker on the evening of 2 July 2022. A kayak was discovered but nobody was reported missing and the search was called off after several hours. That evening, this Lifeboat crew had already towed a yacht, which had gotten into difficulties in the Irish Sea, to Portavogie harbour further down the Peninsula coast.
