The next run is Hollow Knight Randomizer! Parts will be releasing Friday mornings every week, starting this Friday!
This one was a lot of fun. Along with the items being random, and the enemies being random, and the text being poorly translated (you know, the usual) I also turned on cursed nail, dash, and wall cling. Left, right, and up slash, left and right dash and wall cling are all separate items that I need to find. I only start with down slash. So it's time to become a pogo master!
For those who were hoping for DS2 Randomizer next, I have some good news. This will likely be a shorter series. Once it's down, after a short break, I will definitely do DS2 Randomizer. I wanted to do Hollow Knight to get a break from Souls, but once this series is done I'm super ready to dive into the hell that will be DS2.
Fun fact, before this randomizer, I had only played through the game once. I was not very good. So I did a challenge run where I never upgraded my health (5 masks), only upgraded the nail once, and only got tier 1 spells. I got the normal ending and most of the way towards true ending. I fought some super difficult fights, like Lost Kin, Failed Champion, and White Defender. Really got me ready for the Randomizer haha. The practice really paid off, but nothing can really prepare you for the hell the randomizer is.
