"Just a bunch of Hocus Pocus!" I had no idea that this book, a text version of the 1993 film "Hocus Pocus" along with a SEQUEL story, came out earlier this year. I found it at the library and naturally had to read it. This is my review--basically just telling you about my experience reading the book, as a modern Witch who has always loved the movie. There's only one thing that really bugged me, and that's only because I'm a nerd.

Years ago, when I did a couple other videos about the intersection between Pagan and LGBTQ+ identities, someone asked me to talk about Transgender Pagans as the third video in that series. But since Im not a Transgender Pagan, I didnt think it was appropriate for me to speak on that topic, and I explain that thought process a bit more in this video. Ive been working with Madelyn this summer, and she decided to cover this basic topic over on her channel! You will find that video linked. I wanted to give the back story about being asked about this here in a video on my channel, and also give a few more thoughts from my position and perspective now, in 2021, now that Ive been part of a tradition and community and strives to be intersectional and inclusive for a few years now. I also have better vocabulary to express my support now than I would have years ago, even though I was always in support.
