Gibraltar's women have finished fourth in the World Team Backgammon Championship in London, after a play-off defeat to Norway in the battle for third and fourth place.
It caps a landmark campaign for the team of Nadine Chipolina, Natalie Passano, Marcelle Licudi and Anastasia Antoniadi - the first Gibraltar side, men's or women's, to reach the knockout stages of the World Team Championships.
They topped their group with six wins from seven, before being edged out by Iran in a dramatic semi-final decider that went right to the final game
