Junto con la Embajada de Alemania en Santo Domingo, altos representantes del gobierno dominicano y nuestro director de proyecto Jan Janssen, la organización socia de adelphi, Parley for the Ocean, celebró la exitosa finalización del proyecto PROMAR y todos sus éxitos en la República Dominicana.
PROMAR ambiciona reducir los flujos de residuos que entran al mar Caribe, principalmente empaques plásticos y plásticos de un solo uso, e igualmente promover soluciones basadas en Economía Circular en la República Dominicana, Costa Rica, Colombia, Islas Vírgenes Británicas, San Cristóbal y Nieves, Trinidad y Tobago, Guyana y Surinam. El proyecto está financiado por el Ministerio Federal Alemán de Medio Ambiente, Protección de la Naturaleza, Seguridad Nuclear y Protección del Consumidor (BMUV).

Our team of over 100 researchers specialises in analysing environmental, energy, and climate policies at both national and international levels. We're passionate about conducting transdisciplinary research projects that delve into environmental, development, and social policy matters. Additionally, we actively promote knowledge dissemination through lectures, publications, and events. Our aim is to reach a wide audience, sharing insights and raising awareness on topics related to nature, environmental and resource protection, as well as development cooperation on a national scale.

We achieve this through the implementation of practical projects and the provision of scientifically grounded recommendations for action.
