Hiking in Ireland for a beginner may feel be a little daunting. This country is full of incredible places to explore and it would be a shame to let your fears get in the way of that.

As hiking is becoming more popular I felt I would share some pointers I think a beginner would find useful from my own years of hiking experiences. Hopefully, you'll also gain a little confidence to get out there.

I'm recovering from an ankle ligament injury, sadly no mountains for me for a while so I had time to make this video. These are 5 tips from my own experience and are by no means an official guide, please take care when you head out hiking as it can be dangerous. Check out Mountaineering Ireland for more info
