Pacifico Mountain sits at 7,124 feet in the northwestern corner of Angeles National Forest and offers views from Mt Baldy to Los Padres to Nevada. This route follows the Pacific Crest Trail for a scenic, crowd-free approach to the summit. The hike covers roughly 8 miles round trip with moderate elevation gain. No permit required. Best hiked spring through fall when the dirt road access is clear. If you're looking to escape the busy front-range trails, this is a solid option with big-range views and quiet trail time.
