The Brush Canyon Trail is the most direct route to views near the Hollywood Sign, covering roughly 6 miles round trip with 1,000 feet of gain. This trail starts in a residential area north of Hollywood and climbs steadily through chaparral and oak woodland to Cahuenga Peak, where you get close-up views of the sign's backside. The trail is popular year-round but gets crowded on weekends. Parking near the trailhead is limited and time-restricted. Bring water, sun protection, and expect full sun exposure on the upper sections. The hike is moderate but doable for most fitness levels.
