At Home With The Fiddler, with your hosts, Alex DePue & Aria Noelle Curzon! This is episode 3 of the series, seen each Monday night at 5:30pm pacific time. In this episode we will talk about, and demonstrate, what is "block 3-part harmony", as it relates to stacking vocals in the studio, and deciding with "hole in the triad" needs to become "plugged" in order to complete the triad. As we follow any melody, those triads will move about the sonic spectrum in only one of maybe three ways... introducing, "inversions"!
How many notes make up a chord? Why is it called a "triad" when three notes are sounding simultaneously? Why cannot two tones sounding be labeled, "chord"?
