Julie Andrews was mesmerizing in EVERY way, and the soundtrack worked its way into my psyche in a very personal, and permanent manner!
A little later on in life, during a musical tenure in Atlantic City, I would often play this tune with a good buddy and band mate, Michael Kraft, during our regular gig at The Bacchanal, way up at the top of Caesar's Palace. FUN times, GREAT music, MANY stories!
I've brought "My Favorite Things" back for TODAY's audience, as a solo performance from my home studio in Ensenada, and I hope it brings back as many fond memories for you as it does for me... with a little bit of the rock and roll twist I've come to call my own!
