LIST OF PROJECTS: below

The 2020 AR/VR Capstone class and Animation Capstone class took place virtually during Spring 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, and in fact inspired by this, our students chose projects relating to life during the pandemic, and worked in teams through online chats and spatial learning applications. They developed applications and demo-ed them on June 9th, 2020. First, as part of a combined live YouTube demo (5 minutes per team) and then in separate videoconfrences (1/project) where small audiences could ask questions.
We're proud of how they rose to this challenge at UW CSE (University of Washington's Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering)!

PROJECTS:
# Blockly -- Teach computer programming via a gamified setting with hand tracking in virtual reality
# AR Fitness Ball Blitz -- Catch balls, dodge obstacles, and burn calories in one of a kind Magic Leap application
# Vac Inc -- An immersive experience of the highest level of biosafety precautions. Virtually visit where vaccines are developed, targeting COVID-19
# Mind You Touch -- A mixed-reality app that tracks and identifies surfaces touched by contaminated hands.
# Hand on Deck -- A multiplayer VR sailing experience to deliver COVID-19 supplies to remote islands.
# Chefing -- An AR experience that guides the user through recipe instructions and tutorials. We developed our project with the Magic Leap headset.
# Dazzle! -- A narrative virtual reality experience that lets you play as Dazzle the Juggling Clown while he is undergoing an intense interrogation. You must play through your memories in order to piece together what happened. It is up to you to determine whether you are guilty or innocent.
# Ninja Game -- A game that will let Make-A-Wish Kid Christopher experience what it's like to be a real ninja through a fully realized game where he completes a mission while fighting monsters!

All projects and apps shown in this event were developed by students in the AR/VR Capstone or VR Animation Capstone Classes, and developed on Magic Leap One, Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, and Windows MR headsets.
